ALL MONEY GATHERED FROM THIS TUNE GOES TO PAYING THE MUSIC TEACHERS SALARY (1 Year paid allready, now paying for 2nd year) FOR 500 INDIAN CHILDREN WHO LOST THEIR PARENTS / LIVING ON THE STREETS, THAT ARE NOW GETTING ACCOMODATION, EDUCATION, SPORTS, FOOD (AND NOW ALSO MUSIC!) BY THE ORGANIZATION WE WORK WITH CALLED EL SHADDAI IN GOA - INDIA!

10000 Lions gathered 5950 Euro to buy musical instruments and fund a music teacher for 500 children of El Shaddai - Goa - India.

Another masterpiece from the Indian "MAHADUB" fusion project between Indian music and UK dub music produced & recorded by Petah Sunday.

This one is with a singer from Varanasi called Mr. Ganesh where he is chanting mantras and singing about the holy river Ganga.

4-5 Years ago 10000 Lions wanted to create some new music so we talked to our co-founder Petah Sunday and asked him if he wanted to come back to India to produce and record these 7 songs, which he agreed on and was exited to do!

He then proceeded to create 7 "basic" riddims that had just bass, skank and drums, so he later could record the Indian instruments and singers on top of it.

Then we recorded many different singers and players of instruments from many different states of India.

It took him more than 6 months to edit the material that was recorded in India.

It wasnt just to record the musicians and singers on one take... There were 10-20 takes of each instrument / singer, which he then had to edit alot to get a tune out of the material!

So in these Indian songs part of the MAHADUB line of tunes, everything you can hear are real INDIAN instruments (drums are sampled real drums, analog bass synth, real guitar and sample piano).

This is a project that we are extremely humbled to present to the world!
